SAC Foundation is grateful to organizations like Make-A-Wish Hawaii for spreading smiles. Please check them out and read up on their upcoming events.
During a time when joy was in short supply, it's no surprise that our team's favorite Show Aloha Land moments were getting to see thousands of smiles and witnessing a sea of laughter night after night. But the opportunity to bless Make-A-Wish Hawaii families was grounding on a whole new level. Keiki battling for their lives showed us courage and resilience. Their ohana demonstrated strength and hope. And we were reminded of the power of sharing aloha during the toughest of times.
Throughout the event, our team worked closely with Make-A-Wish Hawaii to provide dozens of families a special VIP experience that included a specially-reserved VIP tent, dinner on the house, and keiki's name on top of the Mega Tree. As we learned about each family's journey, there were a lot of tears of joy, smiles, laughter . . . and so many happy families.
Founder Mike Gangloff and our SAC Foundation team are thrilled to continue supporting Make-A-Wish Hawaii and their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. This week, we gifted $50,000 to Make-A-Wish Hawaii from the proceeds we raised during Show Aloha Land's Make-A-Wish Week. Mahalo to President and CEO Trini Kaopuiki Clark and her team for giving Hawaii's families hope. Let's keep helping make wishes come true in 2021!
This week, Michael Gangloff, Founder of SAC Foundation, presented a $20,000 gift to Kupuna Power, a platform that seeks to educate and empower Hawaii’s seniors. We are thrilled to help support the creation of a new education hub, outfitted with computers, dedicated to Hawaii’s seniors! Mahalo, Kūpuna Power, for your advocacy and empowerment of so many throughout state. Kūpuna power DOES start with you, me and this special #ShowAloha community!
