DJ's wish to have a shopping spree comes true!

Eighteen-year-old DJ of Honolulu is a kind, generous teenager fighting leukemia. He wished to have a shopping spree so he could buy things most teenagers want—shoes, clothing and electronics. Thanks to the generous support of Show Aloha Challenge Foundation, DJ's wish came true!
DJ was joined by his mom, wish granters Erika and Will, and Make-A-Wish Hawaii interns Hannah and Kodee, for his shopping spree at Ala Moana Center. DJ had a wonderful time picking out everything he's been dreaming of, and more! Hannah and Kodee helped him shop and enjoyed watching DJ's eyes light up as he discovered new items, such as a basketball jersey. It was a fun experience for DJ and a joyful memory as he continues treatment.
Alainna’s wish for braces!
A Distinct Identity
16yo Alainna contemplated so many wonderful wish ideas when she began her wish journey! From meeting her favorite football player Kalil Mack of the Las Vegas Raiders to having a shopping spree to asking for college tuition… but when she discovered that she could wish to have braces, that became her top choice as she has always wanted them! She shared that she has never had confidence in her smile and wants to change that more than anything else in the world!
